In our Diamond classes, we use a technique called the Flipped Classroom approach, which means that we are focusing on active learning techniques, shown to improve understanding and memory retention. Unlike a typical delivery, we do not lecture in class, instead, our students watch pre-recorded videos (all of a micro length no longer than 10 mins) and make notes outside of class. This allows us within the class to act as facilitators and use a variety of different media and activities.
