Aaah, exams.
⚡The Voldemort to your Harry Potter
🦸♂️ The Thanos to your Avengers
🌠 The Death Star to your Rebel Alliance.
Exam weeks are upon us but fear not I have some tips to help you beat the stress…
1. Channel Your Inner Jedi
Remember Luke Skywalker facing down the Death Star? He didn’t panic; he used the Force. Take a page from Luke’s book and meditate. Find a quiet corner, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing. Picture your stress melting away like Darth Vader’s mask in Return of the Jedi. Guided meditation apps can help you center your thoughts and clear your mind, I recommend Headspace or free YouTube accounts like meditation vacation.
2. Embrace the Power of Breaks – Think Ross Geller
Ross from Friends always knew the importance of a good break (remember “WE WERE ON A BREAK!”). Follow his advice, minus the relationship drama. Study for 45 minutes and then take a 15-minute break. Watch a funny YouTube video, do a little dance to Uptown Funk, or simply stare at the ceiling contemplating the meaning of life. Whatever floats your boat. Just ensure you give your brain time to recharge.
3. Eat Like a Hobbit
Hobbits know how to handle stress – they eat. A lot. Keep healthy snacks like fruits, nuts, and yogurt handy. And yes, second breakfast is totally a thing during exam season. Avoid the Gollum diet of raw fish and whatever that thing was in The Two Towers. Instead, munch on brain-boosting foods to keep your mind sharp. Remember, you can’t study on an empty stomach, precious!
4. Channel Your Inner Hermione Granger
Hermione wasn’t just about spells and potions; she had study strategies that could make even Professor McGonagall proud. Create a study schedule and stick to it. Use color-coded notes, flashcards, and mind maps. Hermione didn’t face exams unprepared, and neither should you. Accio, study materials!
5. Dance Like Nobody’s Watching – A.k.a. Chandler Bing Style
Remember Chandler Bing’s awkward yet endearing dance moves? Mimic his carefree attitude by blasting your favorite tunes and dancing around your room. Physical activity releases endorphins, the body’s natural stress relievers. So go ahead, channel your inner Chandler and dance like no one’s watching. It’s the perfect way to shake off stress and reset your brain for another round of studying.

You can only do your best, read the questions carefully and remember the syllabus.
You’ve got this!
