Welcome back! I hope your break was exactly what you needed, whether that was peace and quiet, chaos and laughter, or just a solid week of not thinking about procurement.
Mine involved a lot of time parked in front of a fire, eating my bodyweight in festive food, going on long walks with the dog to justify said food, and finally watching Stranger Things (I know, I’m late to the party). I’m not sure I’m fully ready to return to adulting, but here we are.
And yes… before you panic… exams are in three weeks. I can hear your collective groan from here. But honestly, this is the perfect time to settle back in, shake off the holiday cobwebs, and start warming up those exam muscles. Think of this as the gentle stretch before the sprint.
Now, every January, I choose a word to set the tone for my year. This year I’m reading to believe that good things happen, so I have picked the word ease. It’s about doing great things without constant struggle. Finding joy and flow instead of pushing uphill all the time.
I want this year to feel positive, grounded, and full of good things.
So, here’s my question for you:
What’s your word for 2026? What do you want this year to be about for you, in study, in work, or in life?
Drop me a reply or share it in class this week. I love hearing them, and they always set such a nice tone for the start of the year.
Here’s to 2026 being full of learning, small wins, and maybe fewer late-night revision panics.
See you soon!
