In 2024 we had some amazing news that we had been upgraded to a CIPS Centre of Excellence study centre, the first year we were able to apply!
This means that we are operating at the highest quality level for delivering CIPS qualifications. I am so proud of all of our teams hard work to make this happen.
So, now is a great time to get to know them a little better. We are starting with the fabulous Kiran Seeley who delivers some of our Level 4 & Level 5 modules for us.
I asked Kiran some fun questions and I hope you enjoy reading her answers as much as I did!
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go & why?
Although it sounds appealing, I’m not very good at sitting on a beach for a week. So, for me, the top of my hitlist is South America – I’d really like to do Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador – Machu Picchu especially. I think the culture, the food, the sites, the reward would be amazing.
What’s the most unusual item you’ve ever had to procure?
An apartment for a board member…
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies that you enjoy outside of work?
I’m a pretty good hobby baker, like getting lost in a good book, generally like going for fair-weather hikes and have declared my undying servitude to a very gorgeous cat.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use it in procurement?
My superpower would be atmokinesis (the ability to control the elements) – mainly because I like the idea of having a walking meeting in nice weather instead of being stuck behind a laptop. It’d be much easier to build a relationship with a supplier on a leisurely stroll than the “you’re on mute” calls.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Hah! I got dragged to do Karaoke quite recently actually and it turns out I’m all for channelling my inner rapper with Eminem – Lose Yourself.
Are there any other karaoke fans reading this?
