Let’s hear from Rick who has successfully passed Level 4 exams whoop and progressing to Level 5 on our Diamond package, with the NHS.

What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever studied for a CIPS exam?
On a bench in a tiny Piazza of a small italian fishing village on my summer holiday.

If you could have one superpower to help you pass CIPS, what would it be?
Co-pilot in my brain to style perfect answers to every question. It’s getting the words in the correct sequence and using the right words I sometimes struggle with!

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you before starting CIPS?
It’s more fun than it sounds, but that it also needs proper commitment of time.

What was your biggest “lightbulb moment” during your CIPS journey?
The final module L4M8 brings all the learning together in practical application. While I wouldn’t go as far as saying it all clicked, it definitely made more sense of the learning we had done previously.

Looking back, what made the biggest difference to helping you pass?
I think it’s being routine and bloody minded about doing 30 minutes of revision daily, even for an old mind like mine it eventually sinks in! And, of course, Laura’s teaching which has been clear and interesting.
Thanks for answering our questions Rick, you’ll smash Level 5!
