As part of your CIPS Membership, you get access to CIPS branch events. I am the Chair of the Birmingham & Coventry Branch, and I’m delighted to welcome you to a virtual event on the 18th November at 6pm GMT on the Value of Neurodivergent Talent in Procurement & Branch AGM.
Neurodivergence is something which is incredibly personal to me, since I was diagnosed AuDHD over the last two years, and it still seems to be something that is not discussed enough in the procurement sphere.
We are joined by the fantastic Naomi Glover, a Neurodivergent Neuroscientist to discuss:
- What neurodivergence really means (and common myths)
- The strengths neurodivergent professionals bring to procurement
- Lived experiences and workplace realities
- How leaders and organisations can create environments where neurodivergent talent can thrive
Neurodivergent thinkers bring fresh perspectives, creative problem-solving, and often a deep focus that can transform how procurement teams operate. Yet, traditional workplace structures and cultures can unintentionally exclude or overlook this talent.
This event is for everyone, whether you are diagnosed neurodivergent, suspected neurodivergent, want to be a better ally, or simply want to challenge outdated norms in your team or profession.
We would love to see you there!
